Riverboats Ådalen III

She glides along the High Coast – the Ådalen III – past the High Coast Distillery and on up to Sandslån, before the journey heads back towards Härnösand and under the mighty High Coast Bridge. Built in Germany in 1958, she arrived on the High Coast in 1986 and has since become a familiar part of life along the river. With the Riverboats range, we draw inspiration from the ‘Älv’ edition in The Origins. For the 13-year-old Ådalen III, we have chosen to let the bourbon casks stand entirely on their own – just as in Älv – without the addition of other cask types. After thirteen years of maturation, the whisky offers fruity and sweet notes, with a finish of bergamot and white pepper.
